Rich has led an interesting a varied life. When asked what he has done he usually replies “I’ve done everything from washing dishes in a Chinese Restaurant to protecting the President of the United States”.

He studied Music Education with a major in Voice and a minor in Contemporary Electronic Music Composition. Later he also took courses in Business and Criminal Justice.

Rich served 12 years in all 3 branches of the US Military: Army, Navy, and Air Force. While in the Navy he was an industrial shipboard electrician. The years spent in the other 2 branches were as a Military Police officer and Security Specialist.

He was also a Federal Police Officer with the Dept. of Defense Police. It was during this time that he was assigned to assist the Secret Service in planning security operations for the visit of President Reagan.

After that, he became a Registered and Licensed Massage Therapist and Registered Instructor in Texas and Florida. He operated 7 mini-clinics in South Florida with a staff of 45 therapists, 2 Physicians, and a Doctor for 18 years. While operating this service he founded the Freedom4Health Coalition, which was ultimately merged with the Florida Health freedom Coalition and was the founder of the Texas Association of Massage Therapists. He had received the prestigious Best Business Practice Award from the leading Professional Journal, Massage Magazine.
After he closed his business in 201, he received his TESL certification, and moved to Vietnam he started teaching English at Public Schools in Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Finance and Marketing.

As a result of much self-study in sales, mảketing and dedicated study of speaking in public, he was appointed by District 97, pf Toastmasters International, to be the sales manager for Vietnam to expand their clubs in this country.

Rich has been very active in the Vietnamese community and has appeared as a guest host on VTC10’s TV show, Living Vietnam In A Day
